Welcome Aparnna, Our Newest Licensed Therapist!
Dear OFP Family,
2024 has been an extraordinary year for us all. Over the past few years, I’ve observed the growing mental health challenges facing our children — a trend that deeply resonates with me both as a professional and as a parent. This has inspired me to pursue additional training, becoming certified to provide psychiatric services in our office. Today, I am able to diagnose and treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression, including prescribing medications when necessary.
From there, the demand for these services has only grown, which has lead us to welcome Rachel, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in adolescent and family therapy, to our Family. The feedback from you about Rachel’s professional and compassionate care has been overwhelming, and her schedule has quickly filled up.
Now, we’re thrilled to share that we’re expanding once again! We have the opportunity to bring on a second full-time Licensed Therapist to meet the needs of our amazing community, and just in time with Rachel’s full schedule. Aparnna Hinduja will be joining our Family for adolescent, adult, and family therapy! She will be here 5 days per week to ensure we can continue caring for the mental, as well as the physical, health of your child. Aparnna received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and has been actively working with our community since 2021. Some of her focus areas include trauma, depression, anxiety, communication, anger management, and gender issues. Regardless of your needs, she is passionate about finding what works for you.
We feel both humbled and inspired as we continue this journey with you. We have already begun the (painful) credentialing process with the Insurance companies, but we plan to have Aparnna in the office and available by mid-January, 2025.
